About the Role
As a Data & Analytics Intern, you will develop data pipelines, analytics tools, and models to provide insights into financial, economic, and policy-related challenges in the energy industry. This role offers hands-on experience working with real-world datasets in energy finance, investment analysis, and policy research, using Python, machine learning, and modern data engineering frameworks.
What You’ll Do
- Build and optimize data pipelines to process and analyze financial, economic, and policy-related datasets
- Develop analytics tools and models to extract insights from large and complex energy sector data
- Utilize Python and machine learning for data processing, analysis, and predictive modeling
- Write efficient SQL queries to support data transformations and reporting
- Apply data modeling techniques to support economic forecasting, financial analysis, and policy research
- Work with structured and unstructured data to drive meaningful insights in energy finance and regulation
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves:
- Recently completed, or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or a related technical field
- At least 1 year of experience (including academic projects) in data engineering, data science, or analytics
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Polars)
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and ETL workflows
- Experience working with SQL for data retrieval and transformation
- Interest in finance, economics, and policy within the energy industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with data engineering frameworks like Databricks, Apache Spark, or Airflow
- Interest in applying machine learning to energy finance and policy analysis
- Knowledge of energy markets, carbon pricing, and regulatory policies

We are seeking a talented and strategic Art Publisher to oversee the gallery space dedicated to Peter Tertzakian (contained within a larger gallery) and to drive sales through corporate catalogs, website, events and other channels.
About the Role
We are looking for an Art Publisher to manage a dedicated section of space within a larger gallery in Canmore showcasing the work of Peter Tertzakian and to position his art for sale in corporate catalogs, private collections, and other key distribution channels. This role requires a mix of curation, sales strategy, and marketing expertise to expand the artist’s reach and influence in the art world. This position will be front end loaded to establish processes, and systems and will be a great opportunity to take charge of a new and developing art space within a gallery.
What You’ll Do
- Curate and maintain the gallery space, ensuring a compelling and cohesive presentation of Peter’s work, including the rotation of pieces on display.
- Facilitate and source reputable companies to produce Peter’s art on different mediums as well as sourcing and working with reputable framing companies.
- Work closely with Peter to plan and strategize the timing of the production of new works.
- Liaise with the gallery owner as required.
- Upload artwork onto website for purchase.
- Track sales and expenses online and in the gallery.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to position the artist’s work in corporate catalogs, business environments, and private collections.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, interior designers, and collectors to drive sales and placement opportunities.
- Organize and manage gallery openings, private showings, events and online sales to showcase new collections and engage potential buyers.
- Collaborate with marketing and printing firms to create promotional materials, digital campaigns, and content that highlight the artist’s work.
- Coordinate print and digital catalog publications featuring the artist’s portfolio, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Track and report on sales performance, client engagement, and market trends to refine strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Work with Peter Tertzakian to align sales and promotional efforts with his artistic vision.
Qualifications
- Experience in art curation, gallery management, publishing, or art sales.
- Strong understanding of corporate art sales and online sales.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging corporate buyers and collectors.
- A creative approach to marketing and sales, with the ability to develop compelling strategies for showcasing artwork.
- Proven ability to drive sales.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills.
- Familiarity with digital and print publishing tools for art catalogs and online sales is a plus.

We are seeking a Energy History Research Intern to support our historical research on the business of energy. This role involves compiling accurate and engaging historical accounts of energy infrastructure—pipelines, power plants, energy inventions, and policies—that have influenced societal and economic developments. The intern will conduct deep research, analyze primary and secondary sources, and contribute to written reports or publications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct historical research on the development of energy systems and key technological innovations.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize archival materials, government documents, reports, and media articles to build comprehensive historical narratives.
- Synthesize findings into engaging and well-documented reports, articles, or digital content that highlight the impact of energy projects on society.
- Ensure accuracy and credibility by fact-checking sources and maintaining proper citations.
- Work collaboratively with the Studio.Energy team to identify key themes, trends, and untold stories that contribute to a broader understanding of energy history.
- Present research findings in a clear and compelling manner, contributing to both internal and external communications.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in history, political science, business, energy studies, public policy, journalism, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with experience working with historical sources, archives, and databases.
- Excellent writing and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and historical accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and producing high-quality research outputs.
- Knowledge of or interest in the energy industry, infrastructure development, or environmental history is an asset.
